In an abundance of caution, Clorox is recalling select varieties of Pine-Sol® Scented Multi-Surface Cleaners due to the risk of exposure to bacteria.

Affected products

Pine-Sol® Scented Multi-Surface Cleaners in Sparkling Wave (48oz-041294419048) and Lemon Fresh (28oz-041294401876), scents.

Hazard

The recalled products may contain bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, an environmental organism found widely in soil and water. People with weakened immune systems or external medical devices who are exposed to Pseudomonas aeruginosa face a risk of serious infection that may require medical treatment. The bacteria can enter the body if inhaled, through the eyes, or through a break in the skin. People with healthy immune systems are usually not affected by bacteria.

All affected products have been removed from our shelves. In order to keep our customers as safe as possible, we are requesting that if you have purchased any of these products from Kirk Market, you are urged to cease use and dispose of them immediately or return the product with the receipt for a full refund. The management of Kirk Market will continue to monitor this situation as the health and well-being of our customers are our priority.
